There are 14 European Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for High Performance Computing (HPC) applications that were selected following the calls under the European Research Infrastructures.
EoCoE is involved in the HPC community and targets research institutes, key commercial players and SMEs who develop and enable energy-relevant numerical models to be run on exascale supercomputers, demonstrating their benefits for low-carbon energy technology.
ESiWACE (Simulations in Weather and Climate) enables global storm- and eddy resolving weather and climate simulations on the upcoming Exascale supercomputers. The aimed global high-resolution simulations will open up entirely new research opportunities and perspectives.
EXCELLERAT (The European Centre of Excellence for Engineering Applications) EXCELLERAT is a single point of access for expertise on how data management, data analytics, visualisation, simulation-driven design and co-design with HPC can benefit engineering, especially in the aeronautics, automotive, energy and manufacturing sectors.
