MAX (MAterials design at the eXascale)
MAX enables materials modelling, simulations, discovery and design at the frontiers of the current petascale and future exascale HPC, HTC (High Throughput Computing) and data analytics technologies.
Its main objectives is to develop the technologies and make them available for large and growing base of researchers in the materials domain, enable quantum materials discovery and design in frontier science and industrial technologies.
MaX focuses on creating an ecosystem of capabilities, software applications and data workflows and analysis on HPC-oriented material simulations, designed for present and future HPC architectures. A major effort is directed toward providing training and services for the broader industrial and academic HPC community.
